RISE by artist Mavis Leahy

Hand embroidered on antique linen, repurposed vintage wood gilt frame (no glass) 7.5" H x 8" W

About the piece: "What has served me well throughout my life is embracing the morning. Wherever I am, just going outside to welcome the day, even if just for a few minutes is my salvation. Whatever life's challenges-it is a new day and I am grateful".
